2. Methodology

a) Moderation of the list

The moderation allows avoiding the "pollution" of the list by messages out of focus and it also allows sending texts in a easy reading presentation. Thus, each message received by the moderation is verified before being sent to the list. The moderation doesn't censor, rather it maintains the discussion at a good level eliminating repetitive, out of focus, provocative messages and also the disguised advertising messages. When there is a doubt, the moderation always establishes a direct dialogue with the person who sent the message before deciding not to publish it on the list. b) Information form

In the mail that you receive through the MISTICA list, there are key data about the integral message. These key data are the following ones:

• the name, last name and author's electronic address,
• the title of the message,
• the date of the message was sent,
• the size of the integral original message or of its translations in lines and characters,

• the synthesis,
• the mention of the language in which the original message was received,
• URL of the original message, or of its translation,
• URL of the attached document, if case arises.

3. Translations

• the original message sent by a member
• the mail done by the EMEC team (synthesis and information form).

1. the mail sent to the list is translated manualy in Spanish, French and English. For Portuguese, it is automatically translated and lightly edited. The obtained quality should allow not to have to read the version in the original language to perfectly understand.
2. the integral messages are translated through the automatic translation program but without human edition and the results are more approximate.

For this reason, it is important to help the program, for having a product of decent quality that you can use. That's why it is necessary to make a pre-processing work allowing the program to identify the logic of the texts being translated. So it would be appreciated if the writing rules could be respected.

The final result can be an easier communication and a wider mutual understanding.

5. Proposals as a conclusion

It's existing since the launching the Emec methodology (but we propose it to you again because up to now nobody used this option).
