A few weeks ago, I received two comments about this message. Both Rafael (Lito) Ibarra from the University of Central America of Salvador and Ignacio Trejos from the Technological Institute of Costa Rica say that they cannot explain where International Monitoring obtained its information from. They have been taking part and/or have been informed about the progresses made in the preparation of their countries for the arrival of the year 2000, and suspect that this information is not very reliable.
