WARNING: THE FOLLOWING IS A NON EDITED MACHINE TRANSLATION FROM THE ORIGINAL IN SPANISH THIS MESSAGE REPLIES TO RICARDO GOMEZ, Specific Use of the Internet in the LAC, 03/12/99 I believe that Ricardo's question is completely pertinent, not alone for the case of Internet, also for the ICT in general and in its two environments: production and consumption. Of the first thing it is hardly spoken but many countries of ALC are exporters (they love that in all it takes place for internal consumption) of software to give an example. Ricardo's question could respond to the restlessness for the terrible effects of the ICT on what has been debated somehow in MISTICA, but opening the perspective of the problem toward cultural and historical lands. I believe that studies comparative non focalizados that incorporate the context where the Internet (it can be read ICT) consumed and / or is produced they would give us valuable information about the local, national and regional stylistic factors that impact in those processes. The topic gives for much more but for the time being there leave it. If somebody is interested welcome it is in the discussion! |
