Internet for the population

The Secretary of Communications of the Republic Argentina began the project denominated Internet for the population", thanks to which 473 community centers will be settled. These will be located in diverse populations of the Interior, in the counties of Chaco, C�rdoba, Currents, Among Rivers, Formosa, Jujuy, The Rioja, Missions, it Jumps, Santa Faith, Santiago of the Tideland and Tucum�n. NEC Argentina won the bid in the north area of the country (the previously mentioned counties) to equip these centers. Each one will have 5 PC Pentium II 400 MHz, 64 MB of RAM, rigid of 4,3 GB, access to Internet, a printer laser and one to jet of ink, a scanner, two webcams, a digital camera and 24 educational programs. Also, the installation will be included of the one wired structured and its corresponding electric feeding, as well as furniture for its use. The different communes will offer a physical place so that these centers are installed in schools, libraries, parishes or municipalities.
