To commemorate your tenth anniversary, the Association for the Progress of the Science (APC) it is throwing, in partnership with the International Center of Investigations for the Development (CIID), the prize Betinho of Communications of APC. The initiative it will recognize and to document examples of as NGO, groups of work, activists and social movements are using the technologies of information and communication and Internet as essential tool in your work in favor of the development.

Nonprofit organizations, community groups of > base, work groups and social movements in any it leaves of the world they can compete to the prize of US$7.500.

They will be accepted experiences that combine with success any tool type Internet and not just pages web. They can to compete innovative initiatives in the use of technologies as electronic mail, discussion lists and base of data.

Accessibility, multiplication, cost, innovation and sensibility cultural and of gender they will be some of the evaluation criteria used for the 12 finalists' choice.
