Convocation to postulants for Investigator and Documentalista for the Project Telelac

The Foundation Chasquinet invites to all the interested ones (people or organizations) that want to apply for Investigator's position and Documentalista for the Project Telelac: Net of Telecentros of LAC: Sharing lessons learned by the telecentros and invigoration from their actions to the service of the civil society and for the Project Telecentros.

The interested person to occupy this position will should:

1. to look for in the whole net information related with the telecentros and to analyze it

. 2. to make a database with that information and to put it on-line through the Center of on-line Resources.

3. to organize the data according to their specific topics (history, organization, operation, experiences, difficulties and solutions practice, contribute theoretical-methodological, contribute technicians, learned lessons, monitoreo processes and evaluation, tools and manuals, etc.)

. 4. to place the organized information thematically in the Kit of on-line Tools.

5 ..Apoyo in documentation to the projects of telecentros of the region.

Duration of the contract: 3 to 6 months

It dates of beginning: 01-03-2000

Wage: To negotiate

Requirements:

1. domain of the language HTML

2. long experience in the production of resources and databases in the Internet.

3. to have access to the electronic mail and the Internet.

4. essential Spanish and flowing English (it would be desirable the domain of French and Portuguese also).

5. analysis capacity and synthesis.

6. aptitude for the search in the Internet

7. knowledge of the ICT (Technologies of the Communication via Internet), in general and in particular, experience in telecentros, besides knowing on topics related with the economic and social development of the region.

8. to reside in Latin America or the Caribbean.

9. to be willing to travel and to work for seasons in the office of Chasquinet in Quito, Ecuador.

3. a small summary about their experience of previous work related with the investigation and documentation, and particularly on this topic (not essential), and for that is interested in the position.
