   Convocatoria a artistas

   Proyecto Paraguas
   en la V Bienal del Caribe

   El Museo de Arte Moderno de Santo Domingo ha seleccionado al proyecto
Paraguas que ser� expuesto en el Museo del Hombre Dominicano en el marco de
la V Bienal Internacional del Caribe que se iniciar� en noviembre 2003.

   Por este motivo el Museo de Arte Moderno conjuntamente con los
organizadores del Proyecto Paraguas han decidido iniciar una nueva
convocatoria para seguir sumando artistas.

   En ocasi�n de este evento internacional, invitan a artistas del Caribe a
participar de esta convocatoria que ser� expuesta en el circuito de
exposiciones de la Bienal del Caribe.

   Paraguas naci� hace un a�o, en Rafaela (Argentina). Melisa Eijo y Mart�n
Molinaro gestores del proyecto pensaron en generar un proyecto que pueda
convocar a artistas de todo el mundo y que luego pueda recorrer distintos
pa�ses como una gran muestra itinerante.

   As� naci� Paraguas Intervenidos, un proyecto que hoy cuenta con 180
obras (paraguas intervenidos art�sticamente con t�cnica y tema libre) de
artistas de 15 pa�ses. La exposici�n fue inaugurada en el Museo de Bellas
Artes de Rafaela, y ya se ha expuesto en museos de Mendoza y Entre R�os. El

   La idea para la Bienal del Caribe es que Proyecto Paraguas sea expuesto
con una nueva modalidad: a los 180 obras que ya existen en el proyecto, se
le sumar�n todos los paraguas que lleguen para esta ocasi�n especial.

   Los artistas que respondan a esta nueva convocatoria y env�en sus
paraguas, participar�n (conjuntamente con las 180 obras que ya cuenta el
Proyecto) en la V Bienal Internacional del Caribe 2003.

   Para esta nueva convocatoria, la modalidad de los env�os de los paraguas
deber� realizarse al Museo de Arte Moderno de Santo Domingo, antes del 6 de
noviembre respetando las bases de la convocatoria.

   De todos modos, recomendamos a quienes est�n interesados en participar,
comunicarse v�a e.mail con Melisa Eijo (mmolinaro@arnet.com.ar ) para
consultar inquietudes y formalidades del
env�o.

   Bases de la convocatoria

   Convocamos a todos los artistas del mundo a enviar por correo
convencional un paraguas intervenido (existe un modelo plegable que ocupa
muy poco espacio, por lo que el env�o es m�s econ�mico). Los paraguas
podr�n ser intervenidos mediante la t�cnica que el artista elija (el
paraguas puede ser pintado, grabado, bordado, escrito, sellado, con
elementos adheridos, dibujado, transformado) UNICA CONDICION ES QUE EL
PARAGUAS PUEDA ABRIRSE Y CERRARSE NO PERDIENDO ESA FUNCIONABILIDAD.

   Debido a confusiones iniciales aclaramos NO ES UNA CONVOCATORIA DIGITAL,
sino que a trav�s de un env�o (encomienda) por correo convencional deben
hacer llegar las obras.

   Tem�tica: libre.
   Selecci�n: no se realizara selecci�n de los trabajos, todos ser�n
expuestos.
   Costos de inscripci�n: no tiene costo de inscripci�n alguno.
   Requisitos: adjuntar a la obra curr�culo del artista, foto personal del
artista y foto de la obra.
   Recepci�n de las obras: las obras deben ser enviadas a

    Los paraguas ser�n expuestos en el Museo del Hombre Dominicano de Santo
Domingo en el marco de la V Bienal Internacional del Caribe, sum�ndose

   Adem�s en el sitio web del Proyecto Paraguas se expondr�n fotograf�as de
las obras, informaci�n de los artistas e informaci�n sobre las distintas
exposiciones que se realicen.

   Los organizadores pondr�n el m�ximo empe�o en el cuidado y conservaci�n
de las obras pero no se responsabiliza por p�rdidas o deterioros.

   Project Umbrella
   in the Biennial V of the Caribbean

   The Museum of Modern Art of Sacred Domingo has selected to the project
Umbrella that will be exposed in the Man's Of the Dominican Republic Museum
in the mark of the International Biennial V of the Caribbean that will
begin in November 2003.

   For this reason the Museum of Modern Art jointly with the organizers of
the Project Umbrella they have decided to begin a new convocation to
continue adding artists.

   At times of this international event, they invite artists from the
Caribbean to participate of this convocation that will be exposed in the
circuit of exhibitions of the Biennial one of the Caribbean.

   Umbrella was born one year ago, in Rafaela (Argentina). Melisa Eijo and
Martin Molinaro agents of the project thought of generating a project that
it can summon artists from all over the world and that then it can travel
different countries like a great sample itinerante.

   He/she was born this way Intervened Umbrella, a project that today it
has 180 works (umbrella intervened artistically with technique and free
topic) of artists of 15 countries. The exhibition was inaugurated in the
Museum of fine arts of Rafaela, and it has already been exposed in museums

   Base of the convocation

   We summon all the artists of the world to send by mail conventional an
intervened umbrella (it exists a folding model that occupies very little
space, for what the shipment is more economic). The umbrellas will be able
to be intervened by means of the technique that the artist chooses (the
umbrella can be colored, engraving, sealed embroidery, written, with stuck
elements, drawn, transformed) ONLY CONDITION is THAT THE UMBRELLA can OPEN
UP AND to CLOSE NOT LOSING THAT FUNCIONABILIDAD.

   Due to initial confusions we clarify it IS NOT A DIGITAL CONVOCATION,
but rather through a shipment (it commends) by mail conventional they
should make arrive the works.

   Thematic: free.
   Selection: he/she was not carried out selection of the works, all will
be exposed.

   Le Mus�e d'Art Moderne de Domingo Sacr� a s�lectionn� au Parapluie du
projet dans qui sera expos� l'Homme Du Mus�e de R�publique Dominicaine dans
la marque du V Biennal International du Cara�be qui commencera en novembre
2003.

   Pour cette raison le Mus�e d'Art Moderne conjointement avec les
organisateurs du Parapluie du Projet ils ont d�cid� de commencer une
nouvelle convocation pour continuer � ajouter des artistes.

   ï¿½ temps de cet �v�nement international, ils invitent des artistes du
Cara�be pour participer de cette convocation qui sera expos�e dans le
circuit d'expositions du Biennal du Cara�be.

   Le parapluie est n� il y a une ann�e, dans Rafaela (Argentine). Melisa
Eijo et Martin que les agents Molinaro du projet pensaient � produire un
projet qu'il peut appeler des artistes du monde entier et qu'alors il peut
voyager pays diff�rents comme un grand itinerante de l'�chantillon.

aujourd'hui il a 180 travaux (le parapluie est intervenu avec technique et

   Base de la convocation

   Nous appelons tous les artistes du monde pour envoyer par courrier
conventionnel un est intervenu parapluie (il existe un pliant mod�le qui
occupe tr�s petit espace, pour ce que la cargaison est plus �conomique).
Les parapluies seront capables d'�tre intervenu au moyen de la technique
que l'artiste choisit (le parapluie peut �tre color�, pendant que graver,
broderie scell�e, �crite, avec les �l�ments coll�s, tir�, a transform�)
SEULEMENT CONDITION est QUE LE PARAPLUIE peut S'OUVRIR ET FERMER NE PERDRE
PAS CE FUNCIONABILIDAD.

   D� aux confusions de l'initiale nous clarifions ce N'EST PAS UNE
CONVOCATION NUM�RIQUE, mais plut�t � travers une cargaison (il recommande)
par courrier conventionnel ils devraient faire arrivez les travaux.

   Th�matique: gratuitement.
   La s�lection: l'il/elle n'a pas �t� port� dehors s�lection des travaux,
tout seront expos�s.
   Les co�ts de l'inscription: l'il/elle n'a pas inscription en co�ter
quelques-uns.
   Les exigences: attacher au programme scolaire du travail de l'artiste,
l'image personnelle de l'artiste et image du travail.
