En el marco de los proyectos que se est�n desarrollando en Funredes, m�s
especificamente Mistica, sobre el impacto social de las TIC en Am�rica
(http://funredes.org/mistica), y Caribtic, para el fomento de la
integraci�n regional en el Caribe a trav�s de las TIC
(http://funredes.org/caribtic), hemos podido experimentar con metodolog�as
originales para la conducci�n de las comunidades virtuales.
Hemos logrado un saber hacer que nos permite ofrecer ahora la modalidad de
traducci�n automatica en esta lista y as� facilitar los intercambios acerca
de las culturas del Caribe.
En este nuevo contexto, la lista salsa toma una nueva orientaci�n m�s
espec�fica en cuanto a su p�blico: deseamos poner en comunicaci�n los
"operadores culturales de la regi�n", es decir, artistas, productores,
intelectuales y otros facilitadores del intercambio cultural.
Funredes tiene su capacidad propia a manejar listas as� que vamos a
proceder de la manera siguiente:
1) Vamos a cancelar la lista salsa@reacciun.ve (sin olvidar de agradecer
una vez m�s el CONICIT de Venezuela y luego REACCIUN por su apoyo de muchos
a�os).
2) Las personas interesadas para seguir deben solamente suscribirse en
[email protected] a trav�s la p�gina http://funredes.org/salsa.
La lista salsa@funredes.org va a aportar varias ventajas:
- La lista va a ser moderada (se acabaron los spamming y otros mensajes
repetidos fuera de enfoque). El moderador va ser una figura bien Caribe�a,
Don Pedro Ure�a Rib, linguista, profesor de franc�s, operador cultural,
gran viajador en el Caribe, salsero, sonero y mucho mas :-)...
- La lista va a ser animada por el mismo Pedro y por Yacine Khelladi de
Kalal�-Danza (http://kiskeya-alternative.org/kalalu) quien tiene una larga
experiencia en manejo de listas y mucho inter�s en el tema cultural del
Caribe.
- La lista tendr� apoyo en el web con la posibilidad de conservar (y buscar
dentro) la memoria de las contribuciones.
- Y gran novedad, cada contribuci�n tendr� una traducci�n autom�tica en dos
lenguas adicionales (castellano, franc�s o ingl�s).
������Ojo!!!!!! La traducci�n autom�tica tiene sus limitaciones y sus
implicaciones en cuanto al estilo de redacci�n. Se lo explicaremos al
inicio de las actividades.
Para bien mostrar que el proyecto se inscribe en la continuidad, haremos
que la ultima nota de salsa@reacciun.ve sea la misma primera nota que
redact� con mucho coraz�n nuestra colega Sena�da Jansen hace varios a�os...

Dans le cadre des projets d�velopp�s par Funredes, plus sp�cifiquement
Mistica, sur l'impact social des TIC en Am�rique
(http://funredes.org/mistica), et Caribtic, pour le d�veloppement de
l'int�gration r�gionale dans la Cara�be � travers les TIC
(http://funredes.org/caribtic), nous avons pu exp�rimenter des
m�thodologies originales pour la gestion des communaut�s virtuelles.
Nous avons acquis un savoir faire qui nous permet d'offrir maintenant la
modalit� de traduction automatique dans cette liste et ainsi de faciliter
les �changes sur les cultures de la Cara�be.
Dans ce nouveau contexte, la liste salsa prend une nouvelle orientation
plus sp�cifique quant � son public: nous voulons mettre en contact les "
op�rateurs culturels de la r�gion ", c'est-�-dire, artistes, producteurs,
intellectuels et autres animateurs de l'�change culturel.
Funredes a sa propre capacit� � g�rer des listes de discussion donc nous
allons proc�der de la mani�re suivante:
1) Nous annulerons la liste salsa@reacciun.ve (sans oublier de remercier
encore une fois le CONICIT du V�n�zuela et REACCIUN pour leur soutien
pendant de nombreuses ann�es).
2) Les personnes int�ress�es peuvent continuer � participer en s'abonnant
� [email protected] sur la page http://funredes.org/salsa.
La liste salsa@funredes.org offrira plusieurs avantages:
- La liste sera mod�r�e (spamming et autres messages r�p�t�s hors
contexte). Le pr�sident sera une figure bien antillaise, M. Pedro Ure�a
Rib, linguiste, professeur de fran�ais, op�rateur culturel, grand voyageur
dans la Cara�be, salsero, sonero et beaucoup plus : -)...
- La liste sera anim�e par le m�me Pedro et par Yacine Khelladi de Kalal�
Danza (http://kiskeya-alternative.org/kalalu) qui a une longue exp�rience
dans l'animation des listes de distribution et est tr�s int�ress� par le
sujet de la culture dans la Cara�be.
- La liste fonctionnera avec le web avec la possibilit� de conserver (et de
rechercher dans) la m�moire des contributions.
- Et quelque chose de tr�s nouveau, chaque contribution aura une traduction
automatique dans deux langues suppl�mentaires (espagnol, fran�ais ou
anglais).
Attention!!!!!! La traduction automatique a ses limites et ses implications
quant au style de l'�criture. Nous l'expliquerons lors du d�but des
activit�s.
Pour bien montrer que le projet s'inscrit dans la continuit�, nous ferons
en sorte que le dernier message de salsa@reacciun.ve soit le premier �dit�,
avec beaucoup de coeur, par notre coll�gue Sena�da Jansen il y a plusieurs
ann�es... Souvenirs...

In the scope of the projects developed by Funredes, more specifically
Mistica, on the social impact of the ICT in America
(http://funredes.org/mistica), and Caribtic, for the development of the
regional integration in the Caribbean through the
ICT(http://funredes.org/caribtic), we have been able to experience with
original methodologies for the conduction of the virtual communities.
We have achieved a knowledge that allows us to offer now the modality of
automatic translation in this list and in this way to facilitate exchanges
about the cultures of the Caribbean.
In this new context, the Salsa list takes a new more specific orientation
as for its public: we want to put in contact the "cultural operators of the
region", that is to say, artists, producers, intellectuals and other
facilitators of the cultural exchange.
Funredes has its own capacity to manage mailing lists so we manage it in
the following way:
1) We will cancel the salsa@reacciun.ve list (without forgetting to thank
the CONICIT of Venezuela once again and then REACCIUN for their support of
many years).
2) Interested people to continue should only subscribe to
[email protected] from the page http://funredes.org/salsa.
The salsa@funredes.org list will give several advantages:
- The list will be moderate (spamming and other repeated messages out of
focus). The moderator will be a very Caribbean figure, Mister Pedro Ure�a
Rib, linguist, French teacher, cultural operator, great traveler in the
Caribbean, salsero, sonero and a lot more : -)...
- The list will be encouraged by the same Pedro and by Yacine Khelladi from
Kalal�-Danza (http://kiskeya-alternative.org/kalalu) who has a long
experience in managing mailing lists and a lot of interest in the cultural
topic of the Caribbean.
- The list will have support in the web with the possibility of conserving
(and looking for inside) the memory of the contributions.
- And something very new, each contribution will have an automatic
translation in two additional languages (Spanish, French or English).
Be careful!!!!!! Automatic translation has its limitations and its
implications as for the writing style. We will explain it at the beginning
of the activities.
To show well that the project is in keeping with continuity, we will
arrange to make the last note of salsa@reacciun.ve the same first note
that edited with a lot of heart our colleague Sena�da Jansen several years
ago... Memories...
