A los amigos que figuran en nuestras listas, este es un mensaje de
paciencia. Estamos organizando nuestra lista, que en pocas semanas saldr�
al aire o a las ondas electr�nicas y donde podremos compartir nuestras
ideas y nuestras noticias concernientes a las culturas del Caribe y a lo
que sucede en torno a �stas.

Se ha dado inicio en Santo Domingo a un coloquio, esta vez no virtual sino
presencial, con la presencia de numerosos caribe�os de Martinica,
Guadalupe, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Hait�, San Vicente, sobre la literatura
caribe�a.
Sus prop�sitos son ilustrar las similitudes, diferencias, coincidencias e
identidades, fruto de una historia caribe�a en la que se comparten
componentes hom�logos y que ha experimentado la formaci�n de una conciencia
cultural en los diferentes pa�ses.

A partir de la literatura de expresi�n francesa en el Caribe, sus or�genes,
la tradici�n oral y la herencia europea, los componentes arquet�picos de
las culturas africanas y amerindias, el coloquio har� hincapi� en las bases
estructurales y arquet�picas de los discursos literarios.

Los trabajos se centrar�n particularmente en la estructura y tipolog�a de
los cuentos caribe�os, las im�genes y representaciones contenidas en el
cuento tradicional y en la tradici�n oral y en la imagen de las culturas
criollas en la narrativa tradicional y moderna.

Durante los pr�ximos d�as les mantendremos informados de este interesante
coloquio y de los participantes.

partager nos id�es et les nouvelles � propos des cultures de la Cara�be et
ce qu'il se passe autour.

Le commencement a �t� donn� � Saint Domingue � un colloque, cette fois non
virtuel mais r�el, avec la pr�sence de nombreux Cara�b�ens de Martinique,
Guadalupe, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Ha�ti, San Vicente, sur la litt�rature
antillaise.
Leurs buts sont d'illustrer les ressemblances, diff�rences, co�ncidences et
identit�s, fruit d'une histoire antillaise dans laquelle les composants
homologues sont partag�s et qui a �prouv� la formation d'une conscience
culturelle dans les pays diff�rents.

A partir de la litt�rature d'expression fran�aise dans la Cara�be, leurs
origines, la tradition orale et l'h�ritage europ�en, les arch�types
composant les cultures africaines et am�rindiennes, le colloque soulignera
les bases structurelles et arch�types des paroles litt�raires.

Les travaux seront centr�s sur la structure et typologie des histoires
antillaises en particulier, les images et repr�sentations contenues dans
l'histoire traditionnelle et dans la tradition orale et dans l'image des
cultures cr�oles dans la narration traditionnelle et moderne.

Pendant les jours prochains nous les maintiendrons bien renseign�s de ce
colloque int�ressant et des participants.

To the friends that figure in our lists, this is a message of patience. We
are organizing our list that will come out to the air or the electronic
waves in few weeks and where we will be able to share our ideas and our
concerning news to the cultures of the Caribbean and that it happens around
these.

Beginning has been given in Santo Domingo to a colloquy, this non virtual
time but present, with the presence of numerous Caribbean of Martinique,
Guadalupe, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Haiti, San Vicente, on the Caribbean
iterature.
Their purposes are to illustrate the similarities, differences,
coincidences and identities, fruit of a Caribbean history in which
homologous components are shared and that it has experienced the formation
of a cultural conscience in the different countries.

Starting from the literature of French expression in the Caribbean, their
origins, the oral tradition and the European inheritance, the component
archetypes of the African and Amerindian cultures, the colloquy will make
stress in the structural bases and archetypes of the literary speeches.

The works will be centered particularly in the structure and typology of
the Caribbean stories, the images and representations contained in the
traditional story and in the oral tradition and in the image of the Creole
cultures in the traditional and modern narrative.

During next days we will maintain them informed of this interesting
colloquy and of the participants.
