 Dear Mistica members,

As you know, the Mistica project has been selected as finalist of an international competition of original projects based on ICT. More than 600 projects have been proposed, and a little less than 100 of them have been selected.

I have just come back from this event and I tell you that even if Mistica did not win the award in its category (Democracy and public services) various Latin American projects have been awarded and some other deserve our attention.

You are going to receive two other mails about this event:

- the copy of an evaluation (in English) that I have published, as a way to express a wild opposition to the way in which this event has been carried out, especially regarding to the Southern participants;

- a note presenting the projects which have attracted my attention and which deserve being divulged in our community.
