Abstract:

An agreement between VITA (Volunteers in Technical Assistance), Wavix
and the Surrey Satellite Technology has been signed. This agreement will
permit to bring low cost e-mail services to rural and isolated areas in
developing countries.
It is the first part of a three part program which will include NGO all over
the world working closely together to develop an information culture in
areas lacking communications.
