Abstract:

Here are the results of the first session for the Pilot Applications. We
received 5 proposals. Some of them do not fully respect the criteria; however,
2 do comply with the objectives and will be able to enter the second session.
Therefore, the funds will not be given during this session. The deadline for
the second session will be on 15/10/99. As the document about the call for
proposals has been modified, we invite candidates to read it carefully.
It will be published at the beginning of the next week.

The Coordination thanks the members who have participated in
the decision: Raisa Minardi, Alfredo Aguirre and Luis Barnola.
