Global Reach has released its latest statistics on the use of languages
online.

As of December 2001, only 43 percent of the global online population
were native English speakers. Thirty-two percent were native speakers of
European languages and 24.7 percent had an Asian language as their
mother tongue.

estima Global Reach no es las paginas
web pero el percentaje de usuarios por idiomas (pero la confusi�n entre la
web y la Internet es comun).
Funredes deberia pronto hacer su nueva medida del espacio de lenguas en la web
y no nos sorpenderia que el percentaje de paginas en ingl�s sea ahora abajo
de 45%...
