Excuse me if I don't get the idea but do you mean to scan everything in
paper to put it into a CD? For research purposes, we download newspapers on
line and put them in CD. It takes a lot of time. The newspaper industry used
to microfilm the newspaper to store and access it. Since they went online
they stopped doing that.
Is it practical to scan books and put them on CDs?
