another list that has "adopted" me. The content is probably relevant
to your interest and the bibliography may give you pointers to organisations.
On a related topic - shut ins - my friend's sister is currently dying
of ALS - motor neurone disease. She can no longer move or speak but
emails regularly using a cursor she controls with her eyes. There is
probably more available about this at ALS Canada, which has a very
active online presence.
