I recently got a comment from someone who had done research on the U.S.
patent related to the Enola Bean:http://www.knowprose.com/node/2284#comment-5372

I am trying to track down whether there is still a dispute over the patent
for Mexican farmers; if anyone on the list has information I would
appreciate it. This is especially important since I am writing some things
up related to 'Biopiracy' this week before I head to Guyana.
