I think I agree with Michel :-) My Spanish is not at its best this morning
:-( But if he is saying that it is the function of the people to be
creative and the function of the web and its users to provide tools and
ways of using the web that encourage this creativity, then this is what I
agree with.
There is something else we could do to generate web content in Spanish -
not particularly creative, but using the tools we have. If it has been
discussed already then I apologise.
Daniel's forwarding of the announcement for capacity.org arrived this
morning too. I went to look - the site offers French and English. I have
already sent a message to ask "why no Spanish?" but 500 Misticas have a
louder voice than I do. CIVIC is currently having a heated discussion about
advocacy. It seems to me that Mistica might be in a position to take a
policy decision to query routinely, as a group of 500 people, any large
international sites like this which do not provide Spanish (and Portuguese?)
