MISTICA: Re: Mistica2 en acción

Dear Mistica,

Please tell me if I am understanding correctly. The main issues seem to be
the form and status of Mistica, and its relationship with Funredes.

Are we sure that Funredes and Mistica are two separate organisms?
Are they like Siamese twins?
Can they be separated without one or both of them bleeding to death?
Is one of them feeding off the other to its harm?
How much do they need each other?
In so much as money is an issue, approximately how much money? What would
it be used for?
One of the needs appears to be for time, for professional work.
If this is true, would it be possible for donations of time/work to be made?
[I think that we are rich in various necessary skills, even if not in
money! :-) In St Lucia we have the "coup de main" (koud man??) which is a
time-honoured tradition of co-operative help, rather in the style of an
Amish barn-raising :-)]
Do we really know each other well enough to be able to maintain consistency
if we "pass around" tasks like moderation? Is this a significant issue?
How far is language a problem rather than a challenge?

Recent exchanges on CIVIC on the subject of Haiti underline the need for
the spread of virtual communities like Mistica in support of understanding
and peace.

A little prayer to the Automatic Translation System to do its best for me
And a new quotation from the English writer E.M. Forster "Only connect!"

Thank you for letting me "play" with you

Deirdre
