I agreed entirely with Carlos Afonso's ideas.
I add some information on it:
ten years ago I published a book
on Digital Television (in French)
Here's I discussed same Negroponte's ideas!!!
I wrote "better to search for cheaper PC,
Why do not think on digital TV?"
Each home at that time had a TV set!!!
And I was joking with other Negroponte's idea:
that of "install in every door a digital device recognising you,
so no more key or somethig so!"
I just put this question: "2/3 of population do not need
this US consumerist device.Simple: they have no home
or at least no home with such a door!"
