The texts here included are the result of several years of research,
teaching and applied work related to the access, use and appropriation
of the new technologies of information and communication (ICTs) for
human and social development. Along them, the author uses epistolar
resources and stories , in a natural way, try to approach those readers
she aspires to dialogue with : teachers -or still in college - that,
from different places and with different purposes, are impelled to make
use of ICTs with educational purposes. Convinced that it is necessary to
give a meaningful use to the new technological developments, which
suppose to understand the role they play in a media society, the author
concludes with a proposal of decalogue that could serve as a guide to
those who intend to make use of ICTs in education.
