EXPOSICIONES: UNA COLECTIVA DE PINTORES HAITIANOS
POR GHEIDY DE LA CRUZ
Con los auspicios de la Embajada de Hait� en el pa�s fue inaugurada en
el Museo del Hombre Dominicano "Heritage", una exposici�n colectiva de
pintores haitianos contempor�neos en homenaje a sus ancestros.
Participan como expositores Fravange Valcin II, Ralph Allen, Carlos Jn
Baptiste, Fritzner C�don, Franz Mosanto, Moab Polydor, Pierre Louis
Av�an (Pilou), Elis� Izm�e, Johnny Valbrun II, Mercedes Coachy, Larger
M�nard, Jn Pierre Auguste, Heurtelou, Casimir Jean, Kendy Peguero y
Brunel Rocklor.
La muestra fue coordinada por la firma haitiana "Promociones Art�sticas
Pointu Av�an", que dirige el empresario y animador cultural Pointu
Av�an.
La pintura haitiana como expresi�n de una cultura aut�ntica es negaci�n
de ese fen�meno y es que el arte haitiano es un producto art�stico hijo
aut�ntico de la fenomenolog�a resultante que representa Hait� como la
primera Rep�blica negra de Am�rica y la segunda naci�n soberana del
mundo, forjada por un hero�smo at�vico, misterioso y ancestral, unido a
la presencia esclava que llev� hasta sus tierras oleadas de almas
encarnadas en grupos esclavos provenientes de tribus ancladas en la
costa occidental de Africa: daomeyanos, nagos, congos, arados, fans,
ibos, mandingas, bambaras y peuphsm, entre los m�s de cien grupos
tribales que conformaron la base �tnica de la formaci�n antropol�gica
esencial del pueblo haitiano.
Seg�n el cr�tico de arte Abil Peralta Aguero, la m�gica capacidad de
impacto y seducci�n que admira el mundo intelectual y cultural en la
pintura haitiana est� legitimado en esa formulaci�n de origen;
enriquecida sociol�gicamente por las acciones her�icas que forjaron su
independencia temprana en el siglo XVIII, estimulando un misterio de
vida sacral.
Dijo que, por lo general, ese misterio era impulsado por la energ�a
desatada de la fe, la esperanza y el vud�, que se traduce en sus
pinturas en actos de una po�tica, misteriosa y seductora vitalidad
pl�stica.
"La pintura haitiana es absoluta y aut�noma en su capacidad de
expresi�n, reniega de toda formulaci�n propia de la arrogancia est�tica
de occidente para en cambio afirmarse en su propia ra�z cultural,
estetizando la semilla del ser haitiano: la humanidad de esp�ritu, la
pasi�n, la devoci�n, la fe, la esperanza, la alegr�a, la tristeza y
tambi�n la muerte", expresa Peralta Aguero.
Indica que la pintura haitiana se apropia del reino de la fantas�a para
hacer de la met�fora un discurso conceptualizado en el absurdo, en una
realidad que no es posible residir en la capacidad de imaginaci�n
creativa de otros artistas que no sean precisamente haitianos.
La pintura haitiana, desde su crom�tica festiva y su simbolog�smo tan
pr�ximo al misterio de lo superior, despierta en el espectador la
tempestad y el rel�mpago.
Abil Peralta Aguero expresa que el arte haitiano es un acto de trance
perpetuo, de gozo interior, siempre en procura de la recuperaci�n y
exposici�n de la inocencia, de la sabidur�a popular profunda, la que
desde propuestas est�ticas de gran dignidad art�stica se traducen ante
el espectador en una sensible y maravillosa exposici�n sobre tela, en la
que se manifiesta el yo profundo del artista como m�dium y voz m�s pura
de su pueblo.

Le tableau Ha�tien comme expression d'une culture authentique est n�gation
