Unidos disertar�n sobre la evoluci�n de la regi�n.

Dentro del X congreso dominicano de Historia, en el que participan 53
distinguidos historiadores nacionales y
extranjeros, tendr� lugar un conversatorio sobre el Caribe. La actividad
tendr� lugar el jueves 26 de octubre, a las ocho de la noche, en el Museo
de las Casas Reales. Entre los participantes se encuentran el Franklin
Knight, de la John Hopkins University, Estados Unidos; Pedro San Miguel, de
la Universidad de Puerto Rico; el
doctor Antonio Guti�rrez Escudero de la Escuela de Estudios
Hispanoamericanos, de Sevilla, Espa�a; y el doctor Marcio Veloz Maggiolo,
director del Museo de las Casas Reales. En el conversatorio se analizar�n
diferentes temas relacionados con la historia del Caribe, su importancia
cultural, as� como los acontecimientos m�s importantes de su evoluci�n y su
impacto en el resto del mundo. A lo largo del congreso, tambi�n se
disertar� sobre personajes relevantes como Bartolom� de las Casas, Col�n y
Guacanagarix. Este evento es auspiciado por el Museo Nacional de Historia y
Geograf�a, el Museo de las Casas Reales y el Patronato de la Ciudad
Colonial de Santo Domingo.

and United States will lecture on the evolution of the region.

Inside the X congress of the Dominican Republic of History, in which 53
distinguished national historians participate and foreigners, he/she will
take place a conversatorio on the Caribbean. The activity will take place
on Thursday October 26, at eight in the night, in the Museum of the Real
Houses. Among the participants the Franklin is Knight, of the John Hopkins
University, United States; Pedro San Miguel, of the University of Puerto
Rico; the one doctor Antonio Guti�rrez Squire of the School of Spanish
American Studies, of Seville, Spain; and the doctor Speedy Marcio Maggiolo,
director of the Museum of the Real Houses. In the conversatorio different
topics related with the history of the Caribbean will be analyzed, their
cultural importance, as well as the most important events in their
evolution and their impact in the rest of the world. Along the congress,
you will also lecture on excellent characters as Bartolom� of the Houses,
Columbus and Guacanagarix. This event is favored by the National Museum of
History and Geography, the Museum of the Real Houses and the Patronage of
Sacred Domingo's Colonial City.
