Does this make sense?
The journal wants about 3000 words. We offer Cardicis
as a sort of case study. We start a wiki. We put in
the "bones" - for example:
Title: The Cardicis experiment or The Cardicis
hypothesis.
Section 1: Background, original idea
Section 2: Issues - things we knew originally needed
to be addressed
Section 3: Questions - unknown quantities, things we
were unsure about
Section 4: What we tried to do
Section 5: What we achieved
Section 6: Methodology and the lessons we learned
about methodology.
Rough guide: 500 words on each section + bibliography.
Each person who is interested makes a contribution -
IN HIS OR HER OWN LANGUAGE
We edit for coherence and translate as necessary. I
think we should submit the original multi-lingual form
AND an English translation, and that we should publish
the multi-lingual form on the Cardicis website.
It wouldn't need money but it would need time and
willingness to help - NOW - deadline April 30th.
It would give Cardicis useful exposure.
Any comments? Any takers?? :-)
