CONSIDERATIONS ABOUT THE USERS AND THE
USERS OF THE NEW INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES (NICT)
The user always is the center of the concerns of FUNREDES, as the
methodology specifies, which lays the
priority on its paricipation in all constitution and formation steps
of investigation networks.
As you can read in our publications, the potential of the human
and social development of the NICT would be much easier if the user
was the center of the processes and not the technic itself; and if
they were confronted directly with the tools, lowering the barriers
through a special attention on user
formation and the quality of the
communication interface.
The mesurement of success of an investigation network is done much
easier with the number of active users and privileged people than
with technical aspects.
See
the debate about users in The Caribbean.
